WeChat — communication and staying connected with suppliers and business contacts. 2. Alipay — mobile payments and other everyday services. 3. DiDi — getting around China and travelling to meetings, markets and other locations. 4. AMap — navigation and finding your way around. 5. Google Translate — useful when language becomes a barrier. But here’s the important part: Don’t wait until you land in China to start figuring these things out. Download them. Set them up. Understand how they work. Test what you can before travelling. Because travelling to China for business requires more preparation than simply booking a flight.
