the first news story I heard about Lindsay they started with a mother killing her children, claiming ppd/pyschosis - immediately I thought "yea, right. she can go to jail", until it was met with "tried to get help in the months leading up to the murder". That right there immediately changed my opinion, because at that point I could actually believe her claims. There is something so incredibly sad about knowing a woman loved being a mother so much, that she wanted to grow that love by having more children, but it would be that desire of wanting to create life that would be the very same thing that would steal her children away. It's sad that she saw herself slipping more and more, continued to try and get help, and not being successful in saving herself or those kids. Would I have felt different if she didn't try to get help? YES. Her trying to get help immediately casts reasonable doubt that her intentions were not planned, deliberate, or done out of pure evil.

I’m a granddaughter of a paranoid schizophrenic and honestly, I will never ever believe condone any woman (or person) that harms (or kills) their kids because the voices said so or their depression caused them to be violent! Charge them and sentence them! Lock them away!

Mental health is a very serious issue and it is not being addressed in the way that it should be. People need real help, not how much there insurance can or wont pay for, not how l9ng waiting lists are. People need help. If they had the help they needed in the begining then most of these cases would never of happened. As a woman I understand what Lindsy has gone through, Iv been through something similar as well. If she had gotten the correct help in the 1st place then it would never of happened. We can empathise with Lindsy, as wev been through it. These people need help no matter if man or woman
