@police_intraction: Cop's Daughter Arrested After DUI Crash On December 28, 2022, at approximately 11:00 p.m., in Howell Township, New Jersey, police responded to a hit-and-run crash after a traffic signal was struck and a white vehicle left the scene. Officers later located 21-year-old Teresa Lee at a nearby Wawa, where she said she had been at Applebee's and admitted drinking but initially denied hitting the traffic signal. Investigators found a bumper piece near the crash that matched her vehicle, and Lee eventually acknowledged that she may have struck something after leaving Applebee's. She also contacted her father, John Lee, a Monmouth County Sheriff's Office officer, who arrived but was instructed not to interfere with the investigation. After field sobriety testing, Lee was arrested for suspected DUI, and an Alcotest later reportedly recorded a BAC of 0.172%. She was issued summonses including DUl, reckless driving, failure to report an accident and leaving the scene.
