⚠️ Our scans are recorded in USA ⚠️ @Project Slingshot UK just dropped one of the biggest fast food exposés this year — and Netflix followed with a 96-minute documentary that premiered two days ago. In 2022, KFC UK released a promotional film called "Behind the Bucket" — showing a YouTuber touring a supplier farm with clean straw, perches, and happy chickens. Project Slingshot sent an undercover investigator to the exact same farm. What they found: severe overcrowding, dead and injured birds left on filthy floors, and conditions the co-founder described as "utterly misleading." Netflix's "Big Chicken" follows comedian Mo Gilligan eating fried chicken three times a day for 28 days. After 84 meals he was heavier, sicker, and clinically depressed. He followed the supply chain from the chicken shop to the factory farm — documenting workers denied toilet breaks and forced to wear nappies, chickens genetically engineered to grow so fast their legs can't support their own bodies, and an ultra-processed food system designed to hook consumers the same way cigarette companies engineered addiction. KFC Denmark went bankrupt after a separate documentary exposed employees altering expiry dates on rotten chicken. KFC UK's marketing showed clean farms. The undercover footage showed the opposite.
