Yes, slavery is in the Bible but to understand why the Bible regulates slavery, we have to avoid looking at the Bronze Age through a modern lens. Consider a modern parallel if a government completely bans abortion, women don't stop getting them, instead, it leads to unsafe abortions. The same logic applied to the ancient world. In the Bronze Age, slavery was an unavoidable economic reality in every nation surrounding Israel. Rather than issuing a ban that would be ignored, God regulated the practice to limit abuse and protect human dignity within that cultural context. Furthermore, Christians do not follow the civil laws of the Old Testament today, those were specific to ancient Israel. Jesus came to fulfill the law, elevating our moral standard to one based on God’s love, commanding us to 'Love your enemies.'"

those bond servants would also sell their daughters to their masters and if the woman didn't wanna marry the son of the master or whatever then she would be sold off again or something along those lines

the bible states that the owner is allowed to beat their slaves as much as theyd like so long as they dont die within 24 hours of the beating. if they die after 24 hours, or not at all, there is no punishment for that, because the slaves are their “property”. the original video spoke of 6 years followed by freedom. it is true, but only for men. women and children were condemned to lifelong servitude, and if a man has a wife and children, he is not allowed to leave with them after the 6 years. if he wants to leave, he must do so alone. if he wants to stay with his family, he gets his ears pierced like cattle, then becomes a lifelong slave

Deuteronomy 20:10-11 NRSVUE [10] “When you draw near to a town to fight against it, offer it terms of peace. [11] If it accepts your terms of peace and surrenders to you, then all the people in it shall serve you at forced labor"........sounds like it supports slavery to me 🤷
