I know this doesn't resolve the Etsy issues but Mayhem Marketplace is now in Canada and it's an app independently designed to let artists actually get paid for the works they sell.

Etsy is flooded with AI garbage but sure let's ban the accounts that contained ACTUAL art!

I had to stop shopping Etsy because it has so much ai sloppy on it now :( it breaks my heart but you are not the only creator I have seen have similar issues with Etsy since the AI has taken over.

After not getting any help from their support for over a month, I finally had to walk away. I couldn't make new post, and they apparently couldn't figure out why. I almost got to a month and a half. I finally told them to pull my post and my shop.

Etsy has done this to a TON of sellers over the last five or so years. It’s outrageous. I won’t shop there anymore because they make it impossible for small shops to get help when something like this happens. It’s infuriating.

You won’t find anything here :
There whole thing is AI now so they don’t review anything, nor do they have any method to appeal, nor will they reverse the decision or do anything to rectify it if you manage to get ahold of anyone.

Etsy closed my moms account after someone hacked into her account and purchased an item. She’s tried reporting it and instead of doing anything about it they just got rid of her account

Etsy is terrible. I’ve been very slowly working on a local alternative. And hoping to get it going in the next 6 months but I’m on the other side of Canada. I know it’s very early but would you be interested in like adding a location if it goes well here and doing it there? Dm me if you are interested, I also wouldn’t be upset if you just wanted to work together to create like the same sort of thing in both cities and not actually use mine.
