@jairosario.com: Replying to @Chloe I accidentally felted then tried to fix by soaking it in milk. To clarify, I washed the milk out after the soak lol it does not smell. While it didn’t go back to being oversized I did get a few inches back and it’s at least wearable now! But I think I did too many things to fix it (also tried soaking in conditioner before milk). Now it has a small hole 😭😭😭. I’m just a girl who spent so many hours hand knitting her fav sweater just to completely ruin it in 1 wash, I was willing to try anything #knitting #knitsweater #crochet #feltedsweater #milksweater

I think the milk trick works because of the fat causing loosening of the fibers. The same effect can be achieved with a high quality conditioner!
