Once a girl i was dating wanted me to drive 30 min from my spot get her then drive to LA which was a hr away from where i live then drive her home then me drive home. 3hr 30 min driving on top of me paying for the date it self lmao all together would have been close To $250 for the date but changed plans where i only dropped $120 then in the end she said i don’t do extravagant enough dates and then friend-zoned me 😂

FIRST, this sounds like an initial meet & greet - that is NOT a date so dating chivalry is not in play. IF after their first meeting he wanted to pursue her then I would say, yes, pick her up or she can drive to his place and he can drive from there.

Valid Point. I did initially say pick her up. But I was not aware of the distance. This definitely changes my thought on the matter. If she was just a few miles away that's completely different because she's actually close by and it's not like you are going out of the way.
