@deborahmosely1st: #Repost @hiphop__unity —— When Tupac Shakur turned a courtroom into a testament of unshakeable faith and raw courage! ⚖️🙏🏽 In this powerful clip, the late, great Shock G (of Digital Underground) recounts an incredibly emotional and chilling story about Tupac standing before a judge during one of his high-profile court cases. The tension in the room was palpable. For two agonizing weeks, the judge had completely ignored Tupac, refusing to even look him or his attorney in the eye. But Tupac, never one to back down or show fear, finally stood up and delivered a speech that would leave the entire courtroom in stunned silence. He boldly called out the judge's clear lack of interest in true justice, pointing out the blatant disrespect he and his legal team had endured. "I don't care what you do," Tupac famously declared. "Because you're not respecting us, this is not a court of law as far as I'm concerned... no justice is being served here". And then, he delivered the ultimate mic drop, a moment that Shock G describes as moving the entire prosecution to tears: "Do what you want to do... give me whatever time you want, because I'm not in your hands. I'm in God's hands". Shock G remembers that the raw passion and unwavering conviction in Tupac's voice were so intense that "you could cut the tension in the courtroom with a knife". Every single person in that room, from the lawyers to the spectators, was brought to tears. Nobody could speak for a full minute. It was a profound moment that perfectly encapsulated who Tupac was—a fiercely brave, deeply spiritual, and unapologetically real human being who refused to bow to a corrupt system.
