there are also two other interpretation of this verse He basically says that the verse doesn’t mean you will not face hardships that you can’t bear. It means that you will only be judged on what you were able to handle. So if the hardship makes you lose your sanity -which doesn’t mean your sad, but you literally cannot reason and tell right from wrong nor comprehend your actions, then the “pen is lifted “ until you regain your proper state of mind. and the other is that the verse is regarding religious duties , if you cant walk you will not be asked why u didnt go to the masjid for example , that burden won't be put upon you , hence the verse "Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear" you will be asked about your religious duties depending on what you were able to do , this does not mean trials will not overwhelm you , thats the whole point of a trial and tribulation In life
