I grew up in a poor family, I felt like the military was my only chance to get out of poverty. I ended up serving 20 years. I think trade schools are the best option right now, would not recommend the military under Trump.

revolution can only happen when our material comforts are at risk and Americans have wayyy too big of a material buffer to easily risk their lives for a revolution, people own too much shit and won't be willing to risk it.

my 40 yo nephew just changed jobs (machinist)now making low $40s/hr. My 18yo neices son just got a job cable-installer IIRC making $35/hr.

Tbh there isnt really a lack of jobs in most states, its the lack of respectable wages for these jobs that have the youth hopeless about their futures

baby boomers are gunna get hit the worst. we have no choice but to go through a deflationary period all their houses are gunna drop substantially in value to meet affordibility criteria to give younger generations a fighting chance its literally this or revolution, they as a generation have been in power for way to long and this economy is a direct reflection of their choices not ours i promise you we wont live like this forever, theres really no other course to correct this.

In today's world you need a college degree that's in demand or a good blue collar job to be financially successful anything less than that you are financially doomed and there's no chance of being financially successful. Your life is determined by the choices you made in high school.
