My grandfather had a Farmhand loader for loose hay on an Oliver 88 back in South Dakota on the farm. It was in the 1960s.

The hay is brought to a beaver slide that is attached to a cage. That design is still un use in Central Montana.

it's not a farmhand made one but I've got a neighbor that built one way back in the early 60s and he still runs her today moving around bales so you can move her down the road a lot faster in a tractor ever would cross the field faster than the tractor wood time is money

It wasn't one guy, lots of them all over the west. I've seen F10 and F25's mounted on anything from a 4x4 pickup frame to a cabover semi with the cab turned around.

Neighbor had one that he modified to stack big round bales in the shed. Drove it a couple of times but can't tell you much about it. That was back in the 80's. He kept breaking the lift arms so he finally scrapped it and got a high lift to stack.
