This sound reminds me of my ex. He loves the trumpet. A jazz playlist quietly in the background as we made love. Or cooked dinner. Mid-mornings at his place, in the kitchen or outside on the veranda, listening to the navy band rehearsing close by. It was magic. And beautiful. I miss him. Deeply. Everyday.
