@coach.ryan0: They’re fully grown until emotions, accountability, or conflict enter the room. Then suddenly you’re trying to build an adult relationship with someone whose emotional development stopped the moment vulnerability became uncomfortable. You’re their partner… not their parent, therapist, or emotional rehabilitation center. #DismissiveAvoidant #AvoidantAttachment #EmotionalImmaturity #AttachmentStyles #RelationshipAdvice
That’s why my ass said I’m allowed to have hurt feelings but as long as I don’t project him on him because it makes me feel bad for making me hurt

It hurts so much just to see her move on like I didn’t even matter. I felt like a piece of bubblegum that once its flavor is gone, you just spit it out.

they come into your life to shine a light on the gaps in your self-love. because a more securely attached person would have cut their losses earlier. take in the lesson and then move on.

I felt like I was talking to a 9 year old boy the day he discarded me after 3.5yrs, blended families, and not a single complaint/need/want EVER expressed from him. He was so emotionally stunted and I didn’t see it clearly until that day. He was raised as a hard core athlete & his only praise growing up was based on his performance. & he’s done the exact same thing with his sons 😔💔

Are most avoidants also really unhelpful and expect you to tell them what to clean when you live together and they're almost 30? And then say "you treat me like I'm your child" when you finally stop being nice and demanding things? Lol cuz that was my ex.

Great video!! I often questioned how they could be a successful executive, great friend, great mother and grandmother, but yet when I tried to speak, it was like speaking to a four-year-old. I thought this many times not just seeing this video but as I was speaking to him, I’m like I feel like I’m speaking to a kid here.

Exactly. Her being wrong was the ultimate shame for her not just with me but being wrong anywhere like she couldn’t handle it.
