@wozz.edt: Rem is one of the main characters in Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World. She is a kind and hardworking maid who serves at Roswaal’s mansion alongside her twin sister, Ram. Although she can seem shy and reserved, Rem is extremely loyal, brave, and willing to risk her life to protect the people she cares about, especially Subaru. Later in the story, something terrible happens to her. Rem encounters the Sin Archbishop of Gluttony, Ley Batenkaitos, who uses his ability to consume a person’s name and memories. As a result, everyone who knew Rem forgets that she ever existed. Rem herself is left alive, but she loses her memories and falls into a deep, unnatural sleep. She remains unconscious for a very long time and cannot wake up, almost as if she were trapped in an endless sleep. Subaru still remembers her because of his unique situation, and he refuses to give up on her. Her condition becomes one of the major mysteries and emotional challenges of the story. #rezero #rem #subaru
