STEFAN_770 :
For years, we kept saying how much we hated school, how we couldn’t wait to leave, and how we wished the days would go faster. We complained about the lessons, the early mornings, the homework, and all the little things that annoyed us. But somehow, when the last day finally came, none of that seemed to matter anymore.
Standing there for the last time, we realised that we weren’t just leaving a school — we were leaving a part of our childhood behind. The classrooms, the corridors, the stupid jokes, the arguments, the laughs, the teachers we complained about, and even the days we couldn’t wait to end suddenly became memories we wished we could live one more time.
We spent so long waiting for this moment, only to realise that we would give anything to have one more ordinary day together. One more morning walking through those doors. One more break with our friends. One more lesson where nobody was paying attention. One more day when we didn’t know it was going to be the last.
And maybe that’s the hardest part — we didn’t know we were making memories while we were living them. We thought they were just normal days. But now, those normal days are the ones we miss the most.
We wanted school to end. We just never realised how much we would miss the life we had there until it was already over.
