I’m a smart person that never had the drive to become a straight A student (got As on the tests tho) yet I see how people dumber than me but with type A personalities look down on others and develop superiority complexes it’s insane. More like that experiment was only run on able bodied white men from age like 18-22 who went to Stanford. No women. No people of color. No one over the age of 25. AND no one who had a background that would be different then the criteria other then what’s needed to get into that school. Let alone that class. Other than that, Totally valid take on social interactions…

i’m a stanford student and this is the most stanford student thing to comment on this post but i think part of the point is that the experiment actually COULD be recreated in basically any setting because people are so quick to get power hungry and prejudiced among “in” and “out” groups even if those groups are made up
