ok wait he want the electric company to pay for all the up keep? not even in chicago do we leave it all up to comed the city go in and cut back trees and other stuff too its kinda crazy to me to expect the electric company to pay for it all then everybody bills will be even higher

I’m in the Chicagoland/Illinois area, ComED and the city/village workers are out every couple months cutting trees back even though our lines are underground for the most part.

Long story short; Our city of GARY INDIANA is very small & to deal with a tremendous natural disaster such as Heavy Rains & Winds of 91mph; Tornado isshhh.. Our city just couldn’t handle the pressure at all! Trees being new or old, power lines and poles etc just couldn’t take it! Nipsco can only do so much in such a small city who just “wasn’t ever prepared for this to happen” Thank You - GARY LUCIANO

Well, there’s the unstoppable crime, the lack of working people, and politicians using the mayor”s office as a career booster. Continuously using the media to play off Gary as the victim of racism…you’re simply minimizing crime, shootings, terror as mere nothing. This storm has many city’s without power…just say it. Shameful.
