@ninamdigregorio: For once, I’m playing a violin part that was actually written for violin. 😂🎻 The iconic string intro to ELO’s “Livin’ Thing.” I’ve been a little quieter on the playing/recording front lately because I’ve basically been living in Sibelius. I went straight from writing the arrangements for the Femmes of Rock symphonic show into charting all of the string arrangements for my husband Brody Dolyniuk’s brand-new ELO tribute show, Fire On High. After weeks of staring at notes, I finally get to PLAY them. 😂 Fire On High premieres this Saturday at Myron’s at The Smith Center, and I’ll be featured along with Femmes of Rock as the string section. Both shows are sold out ❤️ — although The Smith Center will sometimes release a handful of seats closer to showtime, so Vegas friends can keep an eye out if you want to come see what we’ve been working on.
