Don’t minimize what you’re doing AT ALL. You absolutely do have something to show for it. Solid work ethic, grit, determination and you’re instilling this in your kids. This is one of the hardest times to be alive financially and they get to look back and say yeah my mom did that for us. That’s worth so much ❤️

Also… question. You just took a month off and still made$12k. Can you just batch make content one day a week and schedule post? I know that is exhausting in a different way, but then you get a mini break during the week. We can deal with less debt update videos, but then you can take a mental break, still get $$ (even if a bit less) and still pay down debt? Remember— on August 11, you were at $56,000. That’s almost 10k gone in 2 weeks time! You are crushing this. You are going to be done with this loan in 5 months time. You can do this. 💓🫶🏻

Think of it this way: you have previously implied that your eldest is a girl attic early teens, and you’re showing her that she can do anything, and you’ve got time with her yet, before she leaves for college or whatever! You’ve spent the last four years working two full-time jobs paying off the £10,000–£12,000 you took from your pension and £62,000 of the HELOC. At the rate you’re going, you’ll have it all paid off within the next 18 months. Then you can step back, spend more time with your babies and, most importantly, know that you’ve secured a roof over their heads and given them a solid foundation. I’m incredibly proud of you, and you should be proud of yourself too

I think if you look at what your payoff will ultimately be, though it’s technically ~nothing~ it’s breathing room for you! You will breathe easier. You will think of every large purchase thoroughly before you commit to it, and that’s a lesson that’s so hard to learn. This will provide you so much freedom in the long run, too. I’m excited for you and inspired by you!

I think you can take breaks. Be with your kids. I’m glad you’re making money on social media so you can not be doing ridiculous overtime shifts. Your savings must be in insane!!! Can your husband work part time as well to just help? This feels a lot on you.

I know it can feel like it you have nothing to show for but by paying all your debt off you get closer to be free in the future. Maybe make yourself a debtsheet where you colour every 100$ you pay (paid) off so you see how far you already got ! 🥳

It’s amazing what you’re doing. Like you said, the social media keeps you at home and not working all those extra shifts at the hospital. This is paying off the debt faster and you can be home and your husband helps with the social media right?

I’m just thinking of all the freedom this money will be when it’s not tied down to debt. Vacations, less working, more time with your kids! Honestly I think if you’d calculate your average daily payments, you’ll probably be through this HELOC in less than a year! Hang in there.
