brown butter chocolate chip crumb cake loaf🤎 for the loaf: ½ cup (113g) salted butter, browned ½ cup (100g) brown sugar ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar 2 large eggs (100g) 1 tbsp vanilla extract (13g) ¼ cup (60g) buttermilk 1½ cups (180g) cake flour 1 tsp baking powder (4g) ½ tsp baking soda (2g) ¾ tsp salt (4g) mini chocolate chips ( measure with your heart )  for the crumb topping: 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour ⅓ cup (65g) brown sugar 3 tbsp (38g) granulated sugar ½ tsp cinnamon(optional) ½ tsp salt 5 tbsp (70g) butter (half browned, half softened) instructions: preheat oven to 375°F. line a loaf pan with parchment paper. in a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. in another bowl, whisk together the brown butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until thick and glossy. mix in the buttermilk until fully combined. add the dry ingredients and fold gently until just combined. fold in the chocolate chips. pour the batter into the pan and smooth the top. let it rest for 8–10 minutes so the surface slightly sets. for the crumb, brown half the butter to cool it down add the rest of the softened butter    in a separate bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt. add the butter and pinch together until you get large, chunky clumps. sprinkle crumble evenly over loaf  bake at 375°F for 10 minutes, then reduce to 350°F and bake for another 45–55 minutes, or until set in the center. let cool before slicing.
