I had a hysterectomy last year. One thing I wished I knew is you get constipated! Sorry if this is TMI. Eat your fibre and restoralax is needed. Also a wedge pillow for bed. I purchased mine from Amazon. It came in three parts for different positions. Oh and a little pillow or stuffy on the drive home. You can gently hold it to your stomach over bumps. An app I like for my medication is called MyTherapy. Hope this helps. Please take care.
