You sit at the window because………you wanna sit at the damn window. 🤬 plenty of times I been in the middle w someone at the window having the blind open and guess what…. Even though the brightest bugged me I sat my ass there and dealt with it. Smh I’m sorry u went through this

I think one of the announcements should be that the person with the window seat controls the window. The person in the middle has use of both armrests. This would stop the confusion.

I like the window up when leaving and landing so I do my best to get a window seat. I have been on flights where folks have the window seat and keep the window closed. As much anxiety as that gives me, I have to respect their space. But I make it a point to try to find an open window across and look out. That’s for me I don’t bother folks ever.

It only took ONE time for me to catch an early flight and the person in the window seat kept the blind up the entire flight!!!! I knew than I will ALWAYS have the window seat!

I could never have the audacity to touch someone else's window on a plane. My husband gets a window seat for the same reason you do & if someone did that to him, he'd probably throw hands out of sheer anxiety.

I do the same thing when I’m in the window seat I’m terrified of the takeoff and the landing, but if I’m not in a window seat, I just have to turn my head and close my eyes really tight. I have no control over the window.
