To be fair his music isn’t “the best sounding” music I’ve heard. It’s such a rabbit hole though that you can spend YEARS learning stuff just to come right back to the simple steps.

I’ve been mixing and mastering for a year now and I’ve learned that we all hear different things. As long as the song sounds playable then you’re good. I’m not shooting for a Grammy winning master. I just want my stuff to literally sound good. Nothing crazy.
