@wildlychlo: A (mildly underwhelming) August allotment harvest ๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŒพ You want raspberries? I've got enough to bury a body with. You want strawberries? Well, we may need to chop it into tiny pieces and scatter in under the leaves instead, because producing a pile of strawberries sufficient? That could be problematic... Anyway, here you can see me demonstrating the famous 'beetroot squeak' as each root is plucked from the ground ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿซœ And please don't talk to me about the carrots... between my mum sabotaging my plank method (aka her 'tidying up' ๐Ÿซฃ) and some hungry wildlife ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฆก I've not got a great deal to show for my efforts this year ๐Ÿฅฒ And its a bit of a sore subject because they were pretty magnificent last year and you know what it's really effected my carrot growing ego in a way I may never recover from... ๐Ÿฅ•

I had raspberries in pots this year and had absolutely zilch. Moved into their own bed on Wednesday and hoping they reward us next year with some little red gems!
