my dad was babysitting my one year old and called to ask if he likes strawberries. I said yes of course. Dad goes “great! because we just bought him strawberry ice cream!” help 😭🤪

i forgot milk and we were on the train i was giving her foods and snacks but she wanted milk and this lady was like just give her soda to hold her over i looked at her like omg absolutely not she’s going to just keep crying bc she is not getting soda 😭

i do put my baby in front of the tv from time to time. but i’m also parenting solo while my husband is deployed & mama needs to get ish done sometimes lol. not cocomelon or anything, mainly old disney movies or the food network😭

We went out to eat one time and I forgot my baby’s formula bottle. My father in law straight up said that I should just give her some Gatorade. He was being serious and said he did that for his 3 kids. My baby was 2 months old. I never trusted him alone with her after that

my aunt bought us a walker after I specific told her not to. she kept talking about how her daughter (now 41) loved it.......she fell down their stairs 3 times!!! i remember them telling stories about it like it was funny.

Someone gave my 8 month old a cookie without asking me. They were holding her and next thing you know she had a cookie in her mouth 🫠 She’s never had any type of cookie that isn’t her teething wafers.

NO WATER!! I’m sure you know but if they get hiccups & anyone suggest water tell them they can get encephalitis. I think that’s what it’s called. My GMA was so adamant my baby needed water at 2mo for hiccups

I was at a restaurant with my 2 year old and my mom. He was being slightly fussy because the food was taking a while. My mom asked if she could use her phone to distract him. I said she could if she dealt with the consequences. She has never offered her phone again.
