She wore a simple black coat, sunglasses, and a cap pulled low over her face. Even dressed casually, she still looked unmistakably like the celebrity everyone knew. The receptionist stared for a moment before recognition dawned. “Wait… are you Lisa?” Lisa gave her a polite smile. “I’m looking for Dr. Kim.” The receptionist immediately stiffened. “Dr. Jennie Kim?” Lisa nodded. “Her lunch.” “Oh.” The receptionist glanced around nervously. Within seconds, several nurses had started whispering. Lisa, the famous model and actress, was standing in their hospital. And she was carrying Dr. Kim’s lunch. “Do you want me to have someone bring it to her?” the receptionist asked. “No.” Lisa turned toward the hallway. “I’ll give it to her.” Everyone watched her walk away. Nobody had expected a celebrity to appear in their hospital, much less to visit the terrifying Dr. Kim. Until Lisa reached Jennie’s office. She opened the door without knocking. Jennie immediately looked up. Her terrifying expression disappeared. “Lisa.” Lisa placed the lunchbox on her desk. “You forgot this.” Jennie stared at it. Then at Lisa. “I was busy.” “You forgot your lunch.” “I know.” “You also forgot your coffee.” Lisa placed a thermos beside the lunchbox. Jennie blinked. “You brought that too?” “You’ll complain about your headache later if you don’t drink it.” Jennie leaned back in her chair. “You came all the way here just to bring me lunch?” Lisa looked at her coldly. “You forgot it.” A few people outside the office were pretending not to listen. They were doing a terrible job. Jennie noticed. She lowered her voice. “You could’ve left it with someone.” “I wanted to see you.” Jennie’s expression softened. “You missed me?” Lisa stared at her. “No.” Jennie smiled. “Liar.” Lisa rolled her eyes. “Eat.” Jennie opened the lunchbox. Inside was neatly prepared food, everything arranged perfectly. She smiled. “You made this?” “Obviously.” “You didn’t have to.” “I know.” Jennie reached for Lisa’s hand. Lisa immediately looked toward the door. “Jennie.” “What?” “People are watching.” Jennie glanced outside. Several nurses suddenly looked away. One resident practically hid behind a computer. Another was clearly pretending to read a chart upside down. Jennie smiled. “Let them.” Lisa gave her a warning look. “Don’t.” Jennie stood. She walked around the desk and stopped in front of her. Then, completely ignoring the audience outside, she gently fixed Lisa’s collar. “Thank you, wife.” Silence. Absolute silence. Lisa froze. The hallway went completely still. Someone dropped a pen. A nurse whispered, “Wife?” Another whispered, “Dr. Kim is married?!” A third nurse stared at Lisa in disbelief. “That’s Lisa. The Lisa.
