@extreme.crimes: Jason Coulthart, 43, was reported missing on May 24 after he was last seen leaving a condominium complex in Florida. A month later, investigators searching a property in Freeport found human remains in a shallow grave. DNA later confirmed they were Jason’s. Reporting says the grave had been covered with concrete, with a black Cadillac parked over the burial site. Investigators charged Isabelle Johnson, 38, in connection with Jason’s death, but finding her became another story entirely. Authorities said Johnson used multiple aliases and disguises, may have changed her appearance, and moved between different locations while avoiding law enforcement. The sheriff’s office even described her as a “master manipulator.” The search stretched across Florida, Georgia and Alabama and lasted roughly 45 days. Five other people were also arrested in connection with the investigation, including people accused of helping Johnson avoid authorities. Then, on August 13, a U.S. Marshals task force located Johnson at a home near Cottondale, Florida, and took her into custody without incident.
