Meanwhile i shucked in some big zipties as boning for a pair of stays I made for a historical event😝 they work surprisingly well though and I jsut couldn’t be arsed to find a seller of actual boning

I've so many labels labeled as "synthetic boning" and it ends up being cheap plastic, not actually decent fake boning. brands need to be mkre transparent about materials

Where do you like to buy synthetic whale bone? I used steel in my first bodice I made and it was cumbersome for sure

if you're ballin on a budget and just getting into corsets and aren't sure if you want to commit you can use big plastic zip ties from the hardware store as a temp solution.
