Terminal noise is the obvious drain. The quieter one for us was pacing — we told an agent to wait between actions and it handed control back on every wait, burning 160k tokens to produce four comments and three reports about waiting. Now anything needing a pause gets one action per invocation instead. Worth auditing what your agents spend while they are doing nothing.
