@aliciavaldez930: We noticed that Ada's dress was wet near her port site and her medicine was completely leaking through. The biopatch wasn't underneath the needle anymore and was soaked. We called our on call doctor and she said we could come in today to get it changed and to clamp and turn off her medicine. We are grateful that we didn't have to make a midnight run to the ER but it was a very anxious night. We were reminded of how hard every stage of her treatments is. #leukemia #childhoodcancer

Poor sweet girl 😔 my port isn’t working either.. I have to go in on Monday to see what’s wrong with it. I’m glad you caught this so not a lot of dmg was done. That is so stressful. All of my love to Ada, mom and dad. 💙

Keep that thing stuck down and dry!! Reinforce it with your own tape around the edges! Nothing worse than going wood in to clinic or the ward for patch ups when your not scheduled too! Good luck
