I would argue that running a marathon or a five mile race after Callan was born two weeks later or something would be hypomanic. In the DSM-IV the first or second symptom of bipolar II is having unusual amount of energy in a 7 day period. Running a marathon after your two weeks postpartum is not healthy because your body is trying to heal. All of the energy it took to run a 5k is definitely a symptom of hypomanic.
