@benajlux: When Lisa realized she’d lost her ring, she didn’t panic at first. At least not for a few minutes. Then, when she couldn’t find the ring despite searching everywhere in the house, she started to panic. The bedroom. The bathroom. The kitchen. Under the couches. Even the laundry basket. It wasn’t anywhere. Finally, she decided to call Jisoo and Rosé. “I lost it.” There was a few seconds of silence on the other end of the line. “What?” Jisoo asked. Lisa closed her eyes. “My ring.” She could hear Rosé struggling not to laugh. “Your wedding ring?” Lisa pouted and said, “Yes.” Jisoo and Rosé started laughing at the same time. “I don’t know what to do now.” “Did Jennie notice?” Rosé asked. Lisa replied immediately, “No.” Then she added in a slightly quieter voice: “I don’t want her to get upset or angry.” “Get a new one made,” said Jisoo. “That’ll take time—how am I supposed to keep it from being noticed until then?” That’s when Lisa’s real problem began. Jennie couldn’t be allowed to notice that the ring was missing. That’s why she’d started hiding her left hand all the time. As they sat side by side on the couch watching a movie, Jennie had snuggled up to Lisa. Lisa’s left hand, however, was in her pocket. A few seconds later, Jennie looked up. “Why’s your hand in your pocket?” Lisa swallowed hard. “Oh… just because.” Jennie narrowed her eyes. Lisa didn’t look at her. “Relax.” “While we’re watching a movie?” “Yes.” Jennie looked at her for a few more seconds. Then, without saying a word, she turned back to the movie. Lisa took a deep breath. She hadn’t noticed. Or so Lisa thought. The next day, they went to the grocery store. Jennie was scanning the shelves with a serious expression. Lisa, right behind her, with her left hand still in her pocket, was trying to steer the shopping cart with her right hand. Thud. This time, the cart bumped into the corner of the shelf. Jennie turned around. “Why are you using just one hand?” Lisa looked at her. “What?” “That’s the third time you’ve bumped into it.” Lisa let out a nervous laugh. “Oh… it’s just more comfortable this way, that’s why, sweetie.” Jennie stared at her for a few seconds longer than necessary. Then, without saying a word, she turned back to the shelf. Lisa exhaled as if relieved. The next morning, as Jennie was eating breakfast at the table, she stared at Lisa across from her for a few seconds. Lisa had her left hand tucked under her leg and was trying to eat with just one hand. She was holding the fork, readjusting her plate when it slipped, and nearly knocking the plate over with her elbow as she reached for her glass. Jennie finally furrowed her brow. “Lisa.” “Hm?” “What are you doing?” Without looking up, Lisa replied, “I’m eating breakfast.” Jennie watched her for a few seconds. “With one hand?” Lisa swallowed nervously. “I felt like it today.” Jennie narrowed her eyes. Just as Lisa was about to say something else, the fork in her hand hit the edge of the plate and fell to the floor. Jennie slowly turned to Lisa. “Take out your left hand.” Lisa’s face tensed. “What?” “Your left hand. Take it out.” Lisa didn’t move for a few seconds. Then she slowly took out her hand. Jennie’s gaze fell directly on her empty ring finger. Jennie looked up at Lisa. “Where’s your ring?” Lisa swallowed hard. “…I lost it.” Jennie’s eyebrows furrowed. “Why didn’t you tell me?” “I didn’t want you to be upset.” Lisa lowered her head. “I looked for it. I searched everywhere but couldn’t find it. Then I had an identical one made, but it’s not ready yet.” She paused for a second. “I’m sorry.” Jennie stared at her for a few seconds, taking in what she’d heard. “I have the ring.” Lisa’s eyes widened. “What?” “I have your ring.” Lisa stared at her in shock. Jennie raised an eyebrow. “Why didn’t you give it to me?” “You didn’t ask.” Lisa’s mouth dropped open. “I waited, but you didn’t ask.” Jennie shrugged. “Besides, I thought your attempts to hide it were funny.” She grinned. Lisa stared at her with her mouth open for a few seconds. —— In the comments ⬇️ #jennie #lisa #jenlisa

“You traitor.” -- Jennie suddenly burst out laughing. -- Then she stood up and left the kitchen; a minute later, she returned holding Lisa’s ring. -- Lisa’s eyes fell on the ring. -- Jennie took Lisa’s left hand and slipped it on. -- They interlaced their fingers. -- After staring at their hands for a moment, -- “Don’t lose it again, Manoban.” -- Lisa looked at her ring. -- Then at Jennie. -- She raised her eyebrows. -- “Absolutely not.” -- Jennie’s expression softened. -- “I won’t take it off again.” -- Jennie leaned toward her and kissed her on the cheek. -- “You’d better not.” -- Lisa smiled slightly and interlaced her fingers with Jennie’s once more. -- This time, not to hide her left hand. -- But to show off her ring.
