I just got out of rehab and the younger clients were dealing with this and i was so scared for them. The program director was flabbergasted at the 7o etc. being marketed to our youth. This is a crisis for our youth. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am an intake nurse for an alcohol and drug detox center. 7-oh is HORRIFIC. The withdrawal symptoms are worse than Fentanyl! I see it DAILY. Nothing is touching it, not even Suboxone. I am so sorry for your loss. ♥️. It’s marketed as a “nutritional supplement.” It was banned and changed to a class one narcotic. However, it is still being sold under the table! Where is DATELINE? Kratom is addictive! My son is addicted to it. He’s so different. I feel like it paranoid. I believe his use over years I can tell the damage to his thought process. He’s an adult so I can’t do much. For years I only heard from him when he needed help or money. I finally after lots of therapy have stopped being his enabler. I want it banned personally. I am here in support. Lord knows I worry every day that I will unfortunately experience what you have. It also should be easier for families to get their child into a real recovery center that’s also has mental health providers so they can get to the root of the issues. I also don’t think a few or maybe a few weeks and just send them home. The damage wasn’t done in a few weeks so long term care to treat the addiction, the mental health side so they understand why they got the way they are. Also for the ones who need to learn to work, find housing, learn to budget money because I know my son has ever been responsible in that fashion for long. Moved a lot, cars just gone just a complete heartbreak. I pray for him all the time. I pray for anyone who is dealing with either addiction or they passed. 🙏🙏🙏💜💜💜
