Some of these comments are correct. From a diver with over 700 working dives - this video is 100% clickbait. Offshore divers can make a nice living upwards of $400k a year if they are experienced and “break out” early. They will not make close to what this post is saying. It’s also a very tough career - you are out on an oil rig for 6 months plus without ever coming into shore. No social life, no family, your job is 24/7 on the rig. It’s not worth it for most people. Side note on this guy - If he would ever jump off our boats like that on my crew, he’d be fired on the spot

my husband did this for a few years. out of school he made 12 bucks an hour and after 3 years he made 15 bucks an hour. he quit and worked at amazon in their maintenance department and within 4 years made 45 bucks an hour and its so less dangerous
