@thecaseroom.daily: Day 18 of the Lindsay Clancy trial brought some of the most conflicting testimony yet. The defense’s final expert, Dr. Phillip Resnick, testified that he believed Lindsay was psychotic at the time of the killings and described her reported experience as involving command hallucinations and delusional thinking. Then the defense officially rested. The prosecution immediately called Dr. Avram Mack, who gave the jury a very different opinion. Mack agreed Lindsay was suffering from serious depression, but testified that he did not find enough evidence that she was psychotic or manic leading up to the killings and believed she still had the ability to understand right from wrong and control her actions. Cross-examination became tense, and court ended before Dr. Mack’s testimony was finished. The trial is NOT over yet. Testimony will continue Monday as the case moves closer to closing arguments. This post is for informational purposes and summarizes testimony presented in court. No opinion on guilt or innocence is being stated. #lindsayclancy #trials #truecrime #fyp #truecrimetiktok
