IK a lot of people miss S1 caitlyn but her demeanor change in S2 makes so much sense for so many reasons including THIS. It may have been unwarranted at times (such as how aggressive she was while interrogating heenot - I hope I'm spelling that right) but it's no wonder she didn't have the energy for pleasantries or politeness anymore with all the shit she had to take responsibility for PLUS dealing with mfs like salo. I believe being more assertive also served to sell the strike team as the better alternative to the invasion the council originally wanted

Also...talking about councillors including her mother being 'blown to peices' in front of her is so insensitive. I know he was devastated by his injury and the explosion and I do feel for him going through that but his views on Zaun were the same as before. He was always a classist bigot who hated the Undercity. He just became more extreme after the attack. He really didn't need to put it in such terms in front of her!

I love her season 1 personality and I can actually relate to her in early episodes in a few ways, but her season 2 personality was needed for this reason and made sm sense. I acctually prefer her in season 2 becuase i find her more interesting. Ive seen people say that it was soo out of character and that they ruined her but i cant help but think if you think that youre not a real Cait fan, its not hard to understand how she became that way. I also love her voice in season 2, it gets sm deeper and it just sounds so nice, ik its to do with her masking her emotions but mmm just sounds so good
