What benefit does the government gain from helping refugees by providing them with housing and food? Refugees need a life and the opportunity to work. The government should not keep people dependent on others. People should be given opportunities to do something, make changes, and improve their lives. Honestly, there are people living in the UK who are under stress and have nothing. The government should think again and give people opportunities to do something with their lives. There are many refugees who are highly educated. Some even have PhDs, but they do not have opportunities. If they were given opportunities, they could use their education, work, and contribute something to society. Many refugees have knowledge and skills, but they need opportunities to use their knowledge. However, simply giving refugees housing and food is not enough for a good future or for the benefit of the people. I am a refugee myself, and I have knowledge. There are people living in the country who do not have the opportunity to use their knowledge and work because of the English language barrier
