What was goin on at yalls bmt? I came with 6 bras and 12 pairs of underwear and left with the same amount I came with. We would put all our socks and underwear and bras in a mesh bag that zipped up and was labeled and we always got it back, our laundry girls were great and kept up on everything and no ones stuff ever went missing.

In Army BCT 20 years ago, we weren’t even allowed to use the bras or underwear we brought. They made us buy the basic white sports bras and white granny panties at the PX so we all had the same shit and no one had “attractive” undergarments…. 🙄😂

I appreciate your service and honesty. And unless you have nowhere to go is the only reason I would recommend the military. They rip you off from the day you start. Sandbox for communication is so expensive. Why are we having to pay to simply communicate with people who volunteer for years of their life to the military? This government is so fucked up.

I brought basically nothing with me to BCT like the drill Sgt had visible confusion on his face when we had to hold up our phones and our chargers one in each hand so that they could come around and take our phones from us and put them in envelopes with our names on it and I didn’t have a charger for my phone and he was like where the fuck is your charger at and I said I didn’t think I was gonna need it 🤣 💀
