My son's came home from daycare with a tiny little ponytail on the top of his hair bc the teacher was getting the girls' hair out of their eyes and he wanted to be included 🥰😂

When I worked in a day care I had time in the day where they’d all wait their turn for the “salon” very nicely. They loved the individual attention and feeling pretty/ handsome.

The first time my daughter came home with pig tails I cried. It is so heart warming that the daycare teachers spend their time doing our babies’ hair. I always think that must mean they love them, too.

I don’t even remember the names of the older Mexican lady that took care of my baby at the daycare years and years ago, but I will never forget all the cute hairstyles she came home in, that were done with so much love and care.

I sent in a whole hair kit because the daycare ladies loved doing her hair, she loved having her hair done by them, and it was no longer a fight at our house since she let the ladies do it.

I used to work in an extended day program and for a while all the little 1st grade girls would line up so I could braid their hair. But one little girl always had beautiful, professionally done protective styles so I didn’t dare touch it! (And I would tell her how beautiful her hair was and that my braids weren’t as good) but she was 6 and feeling left out, so I told her if her mom sent her to school with her hair down, I would know it’s ok for me to braid it. Couple days later she ran up to me grinning ear to ear with her hair down, ready for French braids! (Sure enough my braids weren’t anywhere near as good, but I tried my best and she was happy lol)
