My son is 13 and I refuse to teach him to throw a curveball. His 5 pitches are: 2 seam, 4 seam, change-up (alternates between two different grips), knuckleball, and palm ball.

I learned to throw a slider at 9. my dad said I wasnt allowed to throw more than 5 no matter what because "i could ruin my shoulder" well jokes on you dad I didnt even crack the jv roster
