Almost 50,000 AI tools. Nearly all the same thing. There are almost fifty thousand AI tools out there right now, and here's the part nobody says out loud: nearly every one of them is the same thing wearing a different costume. Once you can see it, you stop paying for tools — because you can build them yourself. Look under the hood of almost any AI tool and you find the exact same handful of parts: an AI brain (the model), some context fed into it, a few tools wired to it so it can actually do things, and a little orchestration to run the steps in order. That's the product. The magic you're paying for is mostly just wrapping — the industry literally calls it a
Almost 50,000 AI tools. The magic you're paying for is mostly just wrapping — the industry literally calls it a "wrapper." At the peak of the hype there were forty AI slide-makers on one site, all calling the same model, competing on the color of their button. A Google exec said it out loud this year: thin work around GPT or Gemini is just repackaging someone else's AI. So here's the move: stop trying to learn the tools, and learn the thing underneath them — how to take that AI brain and wrap it yourself. Feed it the right context, hand it real tools, chain it into a system that does an actual job. The day you can do that, all fifty thousand of those tools stop being things you buy and become things you build, from zero. And it goes deeper than one wrapper. The real frontier is wrapping AI inside AI — multi-agent systems, where one AI runs a whole team of other AIs: the coding assistants, the research engines, the AI employees. Interest in it jumped fourteen hundred percent in a single year. Doing it well is a real skill — but there's no ceiling. Cursor started as a wrapper around other people's AI; today it's worth almost thirty billion dollars, built from the same blocks you'd learn. Barely one percent of people understand how this actually works, and fewer can do it. That's exactly what I teach — seven courses, step by step, from the ground up: automations, wrapping the brain, multi-agent systems, all the way to your own AI employees. About four months. Start this September and you cross into 2027 already there. The link is in my profile. #automation #aiautomation #aiagent #aiemployee
