I once picked up a flag off the someone threw it in a trash can it fell out on the ground I dropped it off at the lions club so they could retire it properly its so sad that people are no longer showing respect for our American Flag its so disrespectful

so ny thoughts on your question of what will it take to heal this country. I think it would be a mandatory X years service so everyone has a deep connection to the country and each other. the military is a great place to beat stupidity out of people by putting everyone in the same shit situation and forcing them to work together to over come it. another thing that would bring this country together is another 9/11. for the first ten years after the trade center attack this country was America, their were no blacks no Mexicans no whites. Just Americans. I pray it never happens but at this point its going to take something truly out of our hands to close the rift in this land.
