Mount the tv, get toy boxes that double as benches for seating areas during the holidays or whenever, try a different table layout like an l-shape!

Are holidays a day, a week? If it’s short term maybe just move everything out for when you celebrate the holidays and put it in another room. If it’s a temp situation, shouldn’t be a problem.
