We both did istikhara before taking things further, then our families met, got along really well and everything seemed to be progressing towards marriage. We discussed expectations, finances, mahr, wedding plans etc., even had a date set, and I was willing to compromise. But he agreed with everything we discussed and never communicated that he was feeling pressured or that things were becoming too much for him. I tried to make things easier for him, but I wish he had told me what he actually wanted and how he was feeling. Eventually, he suddenly ended things and he cried so much and I did too.. because he felt overwhelmed by the financial/wedding expectations, cultural differences and pressure of marriage, and felt he couldn’t make me happy or give me what I expected. After the breakup, he did istikhara again and told me he wanted me to move on, be happy and have peace, because he felt we weren’t right for each other and that I wouldn’t truly have that happiness/peace with him. He said his decision was 100%. That’s what I struggle with most, because I was genuinely willing to work through the things he never told me were affecting him, and there was so much genuine happiness between us. I’m confused, and part of me still feels like our story hasn’t ended. I pray he’s my naseeb

please a strangers dua is very powerful. pls make dua for her to be my naseeb, for allah to soften her heart toward me to protect us,for her to not love a man other than me and never forget me for, for this not to be a test or lesson. That every dua that is against us is not granted. if we’re not good for each other, please make us good and for allah to forgive our sins and allow us to reunite again. please say ya dha al jalai wa al ikram grant his duas. A strangers dua is always accepted so please dua that when we reunite then it is in the halal way and he asks my dad for my hand. I have such strong feelings for him but I don’t want to compromise my deen and neither does he I’m sure. Please make dua he is my naseeb and my soulmate and he is alleviated from his struggles. Ameen
