It enrages me that half of the population will go through perimenopause and menopause if they live long enough, and yet in 2026 doctors still do not find a way to get updated on the topic! You say it's not their fault, and I agree that maybe more should be done systemically, BUT I cannot condone doctors who do not get updated when they have patients with these issues who know more about them than they do! I am in peri, and I had to argue with my gyno so that she at least gave me progesterone and a preventative estrogen vaginal cream! I am appalled!

because of you my endocrinologist gave me HRT and vaginal estrogen to help with UTI's he is a younger Dr and very open to this for women ❤️

Trying to find perimenopause or menopause mental health training is nearly impossible and menopause impacts mental health so significantly.

Yes we have a huge deficit from a clinician standpoint and worse is the messages doctors give to women when they seek care. Women need to be assertive regarding their health after all it is your body, your life! Thank you Dr. Haver for your amazing work!

I'm 67 years old and postmenopausal. Never had a hot flash but now having IC symptoms. Not had any HRT but was prescribed estrogen cream. It didn't do a thing for me. Does every woman need HRT?

Can you speak on levels of HRT? I have a wonderful NP that is learning the space but can we say and do more about your dose is not my dose and levels from testing are perhaps outdated or am I off??
