sometimes later is a blessing. may not feel like it at the time but becomes clearer as time goes on. I didn't get to say goodbye to my mom when she died but I also know she knew we were close by when she left us.

Brother, you are such an amazing blessing to have come across my page. Grief is such a funny, crazy, and scary thing. I lost my son three years ago, and to this day, I still wish I could go back and say something, anything, different. But then I remind myself that even if I had said something different, I’d probably still wish I had said something else. That’s just how grief works.
