But I also hate when Western culture and pop media call women wearing revealing clothes "sexy sexy sexy sexy". I hate it. It repeatedly distorts reality. This is why many Muslims also think that a woman’s uncovered body is sexual because Western culture keeps reinforcing that idea all the time. Everyone in the West seems fine with women believing their bodies are inherently sexual. It’s very problematic. It’s no longer neutral. It’s frustrating. I just want to believe that my body is neutral, the same way men’s bodies are treated. That’s it. But just like with Muslims, Western progressives calling women’s bodies sex appealing bothers us too.
