My mom was given FDA approved Yutopar to stop early labor in 1988. It was discontinued in the early 90s due to safety concerns regarding serious maternal heart and lung complications. Women needed heart transplants in some cases. It also caused serious mental health issues in the thousands of babies whose mothers took the meds while pregnant. BPD, Severe depression, Schizophrenia and more.
