My theory that the only reason she is pleading guilty but not criminally responsible is because, strategically, it’s the the only way to ensure that she has the care she needs, and the financial burden doesn’t fall on her family. Whether she did it or not, the rest of her life is going to be hard, medically complex, and expensive. This plea would help mitigate that.

I would like to remind everyone that breastfeeding keeps the body from ovulation and produces a lot of hormone fluctuations all day long as a woman feeds and empties her milk. Therefore, postpartum hormones cannot be “normal” until after ending breastfeeding and at least three months after letting your body get back to setting up normal hormone levels to begin an ovulation cycle.

I've never seen a case where it's supposed to just be assumed the defendant did it as a baseline ... like - what even is this? If this was "basically a sentencing because she already confessed" then why are we even seeing this evidence? She plead NOT guilty - I am just so confused

what I find hilarious is the people who say she is guilty and that reddington is an idiot because he stipulated to the evidence being allowed, don't seem to understand that there was no smoking gun with the pysical forensic evidence. Why contest something that actually would raise more reasonable doubt for your own client? Allow it in and show the jurors how atrociously weak the evidence is and how much evidence was actually missed and not even tested in the case.

When I heard they charged her under 24 hours since the tragedy happened I knew that was wrong. Like omfg even when we were sure D4vid was behind Celeste Hernandez Rivas's death the police still took their time of like 9 months to investigate the case BEFORE charging him with the crime. But this didn't happen with Lindsay. This should have been the first red flag.

honestly it's just insane that people take everything at face value. I had to block some influencers I really liked previously because from day one it was she's a murderer. she said she did it etc. like first off y'all act like false confessions don't happen at a surprisingly alarming rate (not saying it was a confession it wasn't but still). especially when a women was in psychosis, on a multitude of medications, and medically sedated while fighting for her life. Like if she did this and it was proven then of course I would say it's vile but it's also okay to accept that the medical system failed her and her family and husband failed her. it's not an excuse for it. but also she needs psychological help. it's overall a heartbreaking situation that shouldn't have happened at all but it happens more often than we want to admit
